The School Day
At Eastfield Primary Academy, our school day is carefully structured to provide children with a positive balance of learning, personal development, social time and opportunities to come together as an Academy community.
Our doors open at 8.45am, with children welcomed straight into their classrooms so that they can settle quickly and begin their morning activities. The Academy day finishes at 3.15pm.
Below you will find further information about our Nursery sessions and the structure of a typical school day
Nursery:
Children access either 15hrs or 30hrs in our Nursery and the sessions are as follows:
30 hrs:
☺ 8.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.
15 hrs:
☺ Mornings: Monday to Friday 8.45am – 11.45am
☺ Afternoons: Monday to Friday 12.15pm -3.15pm
☺ 2.5 days at the start of the week: Monday & Tuesday 8.45am – 3.15pm, Wednesday 8.45am – 11.45am
☺ 2.5 days at the end of the week: Wednesday 12.15pm – 3.15pm, Thursday & Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Reception:
Morning: 8.45am to 11.50am
Afternoon: 12.55pm to 3.15pm
Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2:
Morning: 8.45am to 12 noon
Afternoon: 12.55pm to 3.15pm
A Typical School Day:

Breakfast Club opens - a place at Breakfast Club can be booked via MCAS (MyChildAtSchool).

School gates open and the children come into school - children access morning activities; learning starts as soon as the children enter their classroom
